CC: Chemical Leader - Emil/Crowley

I drew this before the whole news that happened to me.

Ikaros
Ikaros is a set of blades assembled to look like a pair of black metallic wings. Each “feather” is controlled mentally by the jewel embedded at the tip of it. In fact, it is actually the jewel moving the body along, so if the jewel is extracted from the blade, that blade return as an inanimate object, but the jewel can still float around, albeit harmless.

The jewels are controlled by the main, bigger one, embedded directly to Crowley’s head. It is linked to his brain, and thus, is affected by his mind condition. A blow to his head or a head smash will seriously affect the efficiency of Ikaros and might even incapacited it, if the blow is strong enough. Dizziness of the owner, or any status of the mind will also affect the efficiency of Ikaros, but only to a certain level. Breaking a jewel on one of the feather will only incapacited that specific feather permanently or until a new jewel is placed on it.

The Ikaros has a range of a diameter of 2m. Beyond that point, the strenght of the movements will be exponantially weaker up until the blades will be completly unresponsive. It will respond again if Crowley is closer to the blade and if the jewel wasn’t damaged.

Ikaros is an offensive weapon, made mainly for attack. At best, it can block a punch or a kick with one of it’s blade, but it is a rather hasardous mouvement to accomplish (per example: the blade could draw back from the impact and smash in Crowley’s face) It is utterly unable to block projectils like bullets or arrows, since the prime role of the Ikaros is to keep the opponent to a comfortable distance to allow Crowley’s ghost type moves to handle the rest.


Personality

Summoner
Émil is close to that thin line between someone who likes to make a good job and a perfectionnist. Unfortunately, that only apply to subjects and works he is interested into. If someone force him into doing something he doesn’t like, for example playing guitar, just be very sorry for the state of the results... if thoses can be called results. Utterly obsessed over chemistry and mathematics, Émil totally neglected his artistic side. Or any other side at all. Beside cooking, because this look a bit similar to chemistry. Actually rather talkative by nature, Émil carefully avoid speaking up now because he is embarassed by his french accent. This self repression makes him particulary grumpy.... everyday. Enjoy your daily dose of cynism and negativity. His communications are usually resumed in huffing, puffing or throwing books at your general directions. Émil tried to mature up ever since the convenant and want to outbest his feeling of inferiority and looked down upon because of his age.

How to resume Crowley’s personality.... all over the place? Selfish, ungrateful, possessive, prideful, Crowley is the embodiment of a spoiled smartass brat. Unlike his small size, his personality takes all the place. Controlling, Crowley will spit and bites people if things don’t go the way he likes it. An utter capitalist, any services people need from him will deserves payments (althought he can be fooled with shiney things) The only one who is exempt of this golden rule is Émil for obvious reasons. Being incredibly self-centered, Crowley is only able to work with Émil. Any other person teamed up with Crowley will end up with him doing whatever he feels like it and utterly ignore the other teammate’s need. The only one that could somewhat keep him in line would be Émil, but at the cost of quite a lot of bickering. Shove him alone and he might really step on the face of others, friends and foes alike.

Biography

Émil is the son of an university teacher in biology and a politician. From the day he was born, he was introduced to a lots of books. Loads and loads of books. At first Émil read just whatever books interested him, astrology, biology, administration... but during his 8th years, his grandfather started to get very ill from an uncurable disease. That was the spark that he needed to ignite his desire to the chemical field. Finding antidotes, causing poison, researching, it all stemmed from that event and, since then, boy was he OBSESSED. To make it worse for his obsession, he was actually talented. Very talented. Up to the point that his family needed to move away from his hometown to Sinnoh, Veilstone City to have access to a special education that would let his talent bloom properly. The language change turned out to be quite the challenge, even thought Émil was very smart in chemistry he utterly failed in language. He ended up needing a home-teacher, but finding the right person to fit with Émil’s defensive personality turned up to be quite the hassel. Fortunately, his parents had the funds and abilities to find the right person and thus, Émil started to learn a bit more about the english language. To help him cope with this new situation, they bought him a misdreavus to become his companion.

With his studies on track, Émil passed most of his time either at school or at home. (The rest was at the library) To celebrate his entrance to highschool, his parents offered him a dusk stone to make his, now close friend, misdreavus evolve into a mismagius. Everything seemed well and very optimistic, afterall, Émil kept wowing the chemistry field and earning awards, until a fateful day during his 13th years. Émil had to stay back later at school for a, you guessed it, chemistry project when he was walking home with his mismagius. Seeing how it was late and dark, Émil took a shortcut in the smallers streets to get quicker at home and unfortunately withnessed illegal activities from a recent street gangs that was causing troubles around. Too young and unexpecting to see such an event of drug dealing unfold in front of him, Émil took 3 seconds too late escaping and got caught by the street gang members that wanted to erase this unwanted withness. His dear mismagius tried to defend him too, but it proved unable to handle several shadows pokemons at once, and both of them got terribly beaten up. On the verdge of death, both Émil and his mismagius got dragged and drowned in the water nearby by the street gang members and left there to rot. That was when his contract, and futur, was sealed.

During this whole resentement, Crowley was born.

Fighting for survivance, Émil and Crowley came to hear about Drake’s establishement of the Crisis Legion. Determined to do his part in this fight, Émil brought by force Crowley to the place to offer their services. Yes, someone spat and bawed the whole time. Guess who it was.

Additionnals informations

Crowley LOVES singing perish song all over the place. Beware of that creeper once he get into a singing mood. He is HORRIBLE and he doesn’t care one bit!

Émil’s french accent is very thick, much to his disappointement. He has issues about that.

Crowley freaking LOVE shiney things. His room is filled with shiny objects and is often seen rolling in money he spills on the ground. If a money scented perfum existed, he would freaking wear it.

Émil’s utterly obsession over chemistry has made him a magnificient awkward penguin for pretty much anything that isn’t a laboratory.

Don’t owe Crowley money. You will not be safe. Ever.

Émil always carries substances on himself. He is a walking chemical bomb. Tripping him might not be a good idea.

Because he is wearing a gas mask, Émil is defended against poisonous gas. Althought poisnous needles and others means of infections are as effective as ever.

Crowley Émil accepted Crowley’s existance rather well, especially since he knew his mismagius was a goner as much as he was. They still have a sort of bond, but it is unspoken. Crowley annoy the living shit out of Émil, but he knows he will back him up to the end of his life if the worse happen.
